Especially those customers who have been diagnosed with a condition that many other travel insurance providers would see as higher risk than we would. By listening to our customers, and by altering the way we screen them and assess their individual risk for a holiday, we’ve helped loads of people relax and get abroad with less hassle.
We are delighted that the work we do has been recognised by our peers in the insurance industry. In 2011, we were excited to be a finalist in the UK Broker Awards, and in 2013, we were thrilled to be named the Insurance Times Winner of Broker Innovation of the Year. In 2016 we were Best Travel Insurance Provider, Bronze Award winner, at the British Travel Awards, and in 2017 we were Customer Champion of the Year at the Insurance Times Awards. In 2018, our founder Fiona Macrae was awarded the Consumer Marketing and Awareness Award at the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Public Trust Awards.
